 A.  Quick Lesson Sessions  - 10 to 15 minutes each  - ongoing throughout the day

1.       Affordable types of coins to collect:  from circulation;  from coin shows and dealers
2.       How are coins made/minted?
3.       Where in the world did the Dollar Sign ( $ ) come from?
4.       How is a token different from a coin?
5.       Why do certain coins disappear from general circulation?
6.       Historic U.S. Mint failures:   2-cent, 3-cent and 20-cent pieces
7.       O!  The Joy!  of Coin Collecting

B.  Treasure Hunts - Learn about Coin Collecting - ongoing throughout the day
  1. Start with a list of interesting questions about coins
  2. Hunt for clues throughout the VNA show
  3. Return to the Youth Table with your answers
  4. Claim your coin treasure
C.  Scout Coin Collecting Merit Badge certification classes 

     (Registration begins 30 minutes before class.   Bring your blue merit badge cards)
